Description
Low Expansion Type Foam Generator is firefighting equipment that converts a mixture of water and foam concentrate into foam with a low expansion ratio (approximately 5:1 to 20:1) and sprays it onto the fire area. Thanks to its high extinguishing power, it is particularly used for controlling Class A and B fires.
These generators can be used in fixed systems or mobile units and ensure that foam is delivered to the target in a dense and controlled manner. The foam covers the fuel surface, cutting off contact with oxygen, preventing evaporation, and inhibiting re-ignition.
Features:
Expansion ratio: 5:1 – 20:1 (low expansion)
Made from stainless steel, aluminum, or epoxy-coated carbon steel
High flow capacity
Low pressure loss
Wall or floor mounting options
UL/FM approved versions available
Applications:
Fuel storage and filling facilities
Petrochemical plants
Aircraft hangars
