Description
High Expansion Lance is a firefighting device that produces large volumes of light, expanding foam by mixing air, foam, and water. It is commonly used with foam generators or fan systems. Thanks to its high expansion ratio (typically between 200:1 and 1000:1), it rapidly covers large areas, cutting off oxygen to suppress fires.
It is especially effective in enclosed spaces—such as tunnels, underground parking lots, cable ducts, and hangars—where the large foam volume mixed with air provides efficient fire suppression.
