Description
Double-Latched Pre-Action Valve
The Double-Latched Pre-Action Valve is a special fire control valve in sprinkler systems that activates only when both an electrical detector signal and the air release caused by sprinkler activation occur simultaneously. This system prevents false alarms and ensures water is delivered to the system at the correct time during a fire.
As a type of dry pipe system valve, this pre-action valve is designed for facilities at risk of freezing, containing valuable equipment, or where accidental water discharge could cause serious damage.
Key Features:
Double-latched (double interlock) operating principle
Allows water flow only when both sprinkler and detector are triggered
Minimizes false alarm risks
Composed of UL/FM approved components
Easy testing and maintenance
Available in wall-mounted or vertical installation options
Fully compatible with alarm motor gong and pressure switches
Applications:
Areas prone to freezing
Data centers
Electrical/transformer rooms
Sensitive areas such as archives and museums
Industrial plants and factory sites
