Description
Single-Latched Pre-Action Valve
The Single-Latched Pre-Action Valve is a dry pre-action valve system that operates based on detector activation, with no water normally present in the system piping. The pipes are filled with pressurized air or nitrogen gas. The valve opens only when the fire detectors are triggered, allowing water to enter the piping and flow through the sprinkler heads.
This system is preferred in areas at risk of freezing and environments where accidental water discharge is undesirable. Its single-trigger requirement provides a fast yet controlled response.
Key Features:
Activated by detector signal
Pipes remain dry (no water present)
Prevents water flow in case of accidental sprinkler activation
UL/FM approved components
Compatible with manual and automatic test valves
Easy maintenance and commissioning
Applications:
Freeze-prone areas
High-ceiling warehouses
Archive rooms
Industrial facilities
Sensitive environments with electronic equipment
