Butterfly Valves with Monitoring Switch
They are defined as regional control valves. They are used as a shut-off valve on the water supply lines in order to separate (control) the internal zones. The butterfly valve or rising shaft valve is used for cutting or controlling purposes. The position of all valves used in fire systems must be visible and electrically traceable. The butterfly valves are of flywheel type with gear box. The butterfly valves' monitoring switch is located inside the valve and has an on / off position indicator.
Scope of application
The application area is very wide and it is used in many points of the fire installation except for dusty and gas extinguishing spaces.
